This open-plan single-level space provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a compact kitchen area, a cosy couple’s table and chairs, and a TV.
The high vaulted ceiling creates a lovely sense of space and a picture window invites you to enjoy views of the serene, leafy surroundings.
And there’s a small private courtyard garden with a patio and table – a nice spot in which to sit out and relax in the fresh Devon air.

Location
Rose Cottage is positioned in the heart of Newton Ferrers, a village in the South Hams area, near the south Devon coast. Newton Ferrers blends into the neighbouring Noss Mayo, these two villages straddling the beautiful Yealm Estuary.
Newton and Noss are blessed with Devon charm – right on your doorstep, you’ll encounter meandering lanes and pretty views the sloping wooded banks of the estuary. The river itself is a treasured spot for anyone who enjoys water-based pursuits.
You’ll find plenty to keep you entertained during your stay. The villages are served by a range of shops and amenities, and you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to pubs – with no fewer than three friendly local establishments at which to enjoy a meal or to unwind with a drink.
There’s plenty to explore in and beyond Newton and Noss, including some of Devon’s most picturesque walks, with the coast just a pleasant walk away. Getting there
By car
Follow the A38 into Devon, heading towards Plymouth, then take the exit marked Smithaleigh/Yealmpton. From Yealmpton, turn left into Torr Hill, continuing onto Ford Road and the B3186. Continue along Parsonage Road, following signs to Newton Ferrers. As you pass the Green and the Community Hall, before the road veers to the right, take the first left turn along the unmarked track.
By train
You can catch a train service to Plymouth city centre. From here, take a taxi for the remaining half-hour journey to your holiday let, or you can catch the bus service to Newton Ferrers if the timings are convenient.
By coach
Take a coach to Plymouth, arriving in the city centre. From here, you can catch a local bus or it may work better for you to take a taxi for the remaining half-hour drive to your holiday house in Newton Ferrers.
