Location

Harbour Edge is a modern addition to the site of the former former River Yealm Hotel, in one of Newton Ferrers’ most desirable spots. In an elevated position above the River Yealm, the house has spectacular views south along the estuary.

Newton Ferrers and its neighbouring village Noss Mayo (just across Newton Creek and accessible by ferry) are filled with Devon charm. With quaint lanes and sloping valleys, this is one of South Devon’s most picturesque places. And with the river right by the property, it couldn’t be more convenient to get out on the water for paddle boarding, kayaking or sailing.

There’s plenty here to please you during your stay. The villages are served by a range of shops and amenities, and a fantastic choice of pubs at which to enjoy a meal, a tea or coffee, an ice-cream or, of course, to unwind with a drink.

Around Newton and Noss, including some of Devon’s most picturesque walks, with the dramatic coast just a pleasant walk away. Here, you can discover secluded coves, and stunning views out over the English Channel. You’re also within day-trip driving distance of beautiful sandy beaches, Dartmoor, the maritime city of Plymouth and the unique allure of Cornwall.
