The Hayloft is a stunningly designed and immaculately presented holiday cottage. The property is one of a series of impressive conversions at Rowden Court, a complex of barn buildings.
The property’s exposed stone and brick exterior, and distinctive archway, create a sense of character from the moment you arrive. Inside, the Hayloft is a wonderful, welcoming and stylish home from home. With white walls and vaulted ceilings, the upstairs open-plan living area offers a bright and spacious hub for relaxing, cooking and dining during your stay. Light wooden floors and clean lines of the kitchen and furniture bring a relaxed contemporary feel to the place.
Staying at Rowden Court also means being able to enjoy the shared amenities on this quiet complex, including the serene greenery of the well-maintained grounds and a tennis court, should you fancy a few games during your stay.

Location
The Hayloft holiday let is one property in a series of historic Grade II Listed barn buildings in a complex called Rowden Court. Located just outside Noss Mayo, this is a serene rural spot in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by farmland and countryside, and situated very near the South Devon coast.
This idyllic location presents a variety of scenic walks right from your doorstep. You can stroll through countryside and along the South West Coast Path, with spectacular views out to sea and along the dramatic cliffy shores of Devon and Cornwall. For a long walk, there’s a wonderful circular route along the coast, through ancient woodland and through Noss Mayo village.
The twin villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers are lovely waterside communities with quintessential winding West Country lanes and friendly pubs where you can stop off for a great meal and your favourite tipple – or just a tea, coffee or ice-cream.
And your holiday let is the perfect base for day trips to the countless attractions of Devon and nearby Cornwall – from breathtaking wilderness to the culture, shopping and gastronomical delights of the towns and cities in the region.
Getting there
By car
Take the A38 (heading towards Plymouth if coming from outside the South West). Take the exit for Smithaleigh/Yealmpton and when you arrive in Yealmpton, turn left into Torr Hill and onto Ford Road and along the B3186 into Newton Ferrers. Turn left into Bridgend Hill and turn into Stoke Road at the end of the estuary. Continue through Noss Mayo along Stoke Road then follow it out of the village. Turn left at Revelstoke House and then into Rowden Court.
By train
You can catch a train service to Plymouth city centre and from here, use the reliable but infrequent bus service to Noss Mayo and walk the remaining stretch to the holiday let. Alternatively, there are numerous taxi services to take you on the remaining half-hour journey from Plymouth to your holiday let.
By coach
There are many coach services arriving at Plymouth. From here, you can either catch the infrequent local bus service to Noss Mayo if timings allow, and walk the final leg of the journey to your holiday let, or for an easier option, take a taxi for half-hour journey from Plymouth.
