As you arrive at this handsome stone building, you’re greeted by a distinctive arched entranceway – the first taste of the quirky character this home offers. This curved frontage features multiple windows, filling the open-plan ground floor with natural light.

You’ll find all the features you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including a well-equipped and high-quality kitchen, And this cosy home is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Layers of white and off-white shades and textures combine with natural wood finishes to stylish effect, while the exposed beams and stonework pile on the period charm. The result is an elegant but relaxed space – the perfect base for a chilled Devon break.

Location
This holiday let is part of an old Grade II Listed barn complex in a rural spot just outside Noss Mayo, and close to the South Devon coast.
The property is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the South Hams, and surrounded by pretty countryside. It is also close to a spectacular stretch of National Trust-owned coastline. Some of Devon’s most picturesque walks are right on your doorstep, with clifftop ocean views, rolling farmland and ancient woodland waiting to delight you.
The twin villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers bring an idyllic taste of riverside living. Wander around quaint lanes, take part in (or simply watch) water-based leisure pursuits, and enjoy gastro dishes with a glass of wine or a pint in a choice of riverside pubs.
Take a trip farther afield to sample the many attractions that Devon and nearby Cornwall have to offer – with opportunities to discover a world of leisure, nature, culture, shopping and cuisine.
Getting there
By car
Drive along the A38 (heading towards Plymouth if coming from outside the South West). Take the exit for Smithaleigh/Yealmpton and when you arrive in Yealmpton, turn left into Torr Hill and onto Ford Road and along the B3186 into Newton Ferrers. Turn left into Bridgend Hill and turn into Stoke Road at the end of the estuary. Continue through Noss Mayo along Stoke Road then follow it out of the village. Turn left at Revelstoke House and then into Rowden Court, and you’ll find your holiday let a short way along on your right-hand side.
By train
You can catch a train service to Plymouth city centre and from here, a bus service to Noss Mayo (but it is infrequent) and walk the remaining stretch to the holiday let. Alternatively, there are numerous taxi services to take you on the remaining half-hour journey from Plymouth to your holiday house in Noss Mayo.
By coach
There are many coach services arriving at Plymouth. From here, you can either catch the infrequent local bus service to Noss Mayo if timings allow, and walk the final leg of the journey to your holiday let, or for an easier option, take a taxi for half-hour journey from Plymouth.
