Old Reservoir House is located in the idyllic waterside village of Noss Mayo, in south-west Devon.

Perched on the banks of the estuary, this stunning house commands an elevated position with sensational views from several rooms and multiple balconies – inviting you to relax as you gaze out across the water, to the pretty twin villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers, and to the rolling Devon hills beyond.

Step out of the house and into the heart of Noss, where you’ll find plenty of local amenities and a laid-back riverside lifestyle, with two pubs – the Ship and the Swan – that serve lovely food just a short stroll away.

You’re also perfectly positioned for some superb scenic walks, including a spectacular circular route around some of the South Hams’ loveliest landscapes. This takes you through open countryside, along a stretch of the South West Coast Path with its dramatic sea views, through ancient woodland and back into Noss village.

A short drive out of Noss, you can explore sandy beaches, bustling towns and villages, and the enchanting beauty of Devon’s countryside.

Getting there

By car
From the A38, take the exit for Smithaleigh/Yealmpton and when you arrive in Yealmpton, turn left into Torr Hill, driving on to Ford Road and along the B3186. From here, you turn left into Widey Hill and on into Newton Ferrers. At Noss Mayo, turn onto Stoke Road, continuing onto Revelstoke Road, where you’ll find parking for Old Reservoir House on your right.

By train
Catch a train service to Plymouth city centre. From here, there is a bus service to Noss Mayo but it is infrequent. Alternatively, there are numerous taxi services to take you on the remaining journey to your holiday let.

By coach
There are numerous coach services arriving in Plymouth city centre. From here, there is an infrequent local bus service to Noss Mayo. You might prefer to use a local taxi service for the remaining half-hour drive to Noss Mayo.
