Features & amenities

Wool Barn is a charming cosy home created in what was originally a barn building. With features that include painted stone walls and exposed timber roof beams, the home is rich in character and really celebrates its agricultural history.

As you enter Wool Barn from the courtyard, you step down into an entrance area with seating. This leads into the kitchen and dining area, where a wooden bench seating and a classic white kitchen add to the country feel, and provide ample facilities for two people to enjoy a pleasant stay.

Up the wooden stairs, the character and comfort continue onto the first floor. A cosy living space with a squashy sofa invites you to sit back for a chat or to watch TV. The bedroom has a large double bed and a window with a Juliet balcony, presenting lovely views over the shared greenery and grounds around the property. The vaulted ceilings and white painted stone walls of this upper floor showcase Wool Barn’s period character while keeping the feel light and airy.

  • Entrance lobby with small seating area, with natural light from unusual arrowslit windows.
  • Kitchen-dining space on ground floor, with slate floor and white-painted stone and brick walls.
  • Brick and wooden stairs open directly onto first-floor, which features a living room with sofa and footstool, cosy raised lounging area, side table, large TV (concealed behind doors), dressing table with mirror and stool, and storage space.
  • Shower room comprises large walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
  • Bedroom has wooden framed double bed, wardrobe storage, chair, and Juliet balcony window overlooking grounds.
  • Central heating.
